When you vote for Trump you're voting for a new Secretary of State and a new Attorney General and a new Press Secretary. You're voting for an administration that, unlike the current one, cares more about the border of the United States that about the borders of distant countries. You're voting for a more sane foreign policy that puts America first and doesn't make exportation of the LGBT agenda it's priority. You're voting for competence leadership of the Executive branch. And whoever you vote for he or his immediate successor, most likely his VP, will choose the replacement for Justice Thomas.

Ive never gelt guilty about being white or my whiteness, i actually am proud. Yes, we may be rich but regardless of whether someone cares about what others have, the reality is that any potential wife does. Who was richer? The man who had a family and 7 kids, his own house, and died younger than us or the man who has millennia of lightbulb light and unlimited iphone screen but no family. I attended Alistair's church from 1995 through 2010 when I relocated. I benefited immensely from his steady expository preaching of the bible. If I had to choose one pastor who would end up in a situation like this, Alistair's name would have never come to mind. I am shocked and saddened by his statements. In the 15 years I sat under his teaching, I never heard him utter a single unbiblical word. I will put this in God's hands and pray for Alistair, as he instructed me to do so for others many times over the years.

Why are children always excluded? Nothing in Scripture says exclude children. I applaud Doug. The OT is constant on including children- every meal and passover. Dads explain and teach their children. That never changed. Jesus says it best “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”

Doug is consistent and I respect that. I do whole heartedly disagree with him here.

I would be glad to debate Doug on his claims here. Doug has so many inaccuracies, so many deceptions.

And this is a good example of why Systematic Theology should always be governed by Biblical Theology. Systematic Theology becomes inherently logic based on the presuppositions of the “system”. Love Doug and his podcast, but couldn’t disagree more with his explanation of how he arrived at infant baptism and now communion. All very logical, based on the presuppositions, but finding the plain teaching of Scripture to support the teaching…well that’s a bit more challenging.

Covenant house hold is a teaching that has been lost along the way, and the responsibility of covenant leadership of dads and husbands has been abandoned. Our natural tendency is to claim, “not my fault” when in reality it became our fault on our wedding day at the altar. I just found out that both my elders have been divorced and remarried 30-40 years ago. I challenged them about obeying the requirements of eldership in 1 Tim 3 and Titus 1 and they both said it was the woman’s fault who pursued divorce and they were basically off the hook. I’m glad Christ didn’t look at covenant leadership like this! Treat your children as if they are God’s even before they verbally claim God, you wouldn’t treat them like a stranger in your house until they confessed it. You named them and they have your mark with their last name and you didn’t wait for their approval. Be consistent with the family of God.
